वन विभाग पांवटा साहिब के सहयोग से मेरा गांव मेरा देश – एक सहारा संस्था*, दून प्रेस क्लब पांवटा साहिब, जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण सिरमौर, आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता और आशा वर्करों के संयुक्त प्रयास से सतीवाला बीट में भव्य पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया।

वन विभाग की तारबाड़ से सुरक्षित भूमि पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में पर्यावरण संरक्षण और हरियाली बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से लगभग 800 पौधे लगाए गए। इनमें फलदार, छायादार और औषधीय प्रजातियों के पौधे शामिल थे।

संस्था के निदेशक डॉ. अनुराग गुप्ता और अध्यक्ष पुष्पा खंडूजा ने कहा—

“एक पौधा सिर्फ हरियाली ही नहीं देता, बल्कि यह जीवन, ऑक्सीजन, छाया और असंख्य जीवों के लिए घर भी बनता है। लगाना ही नहीं, उनकी देखभाल भी उतनी ही जरूरी है।”

दून प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष मुकेश रमोल ने कहा कि हिमाचल जैसे पर्वतीय राज्यों में वनों और हरियाली का संरक्षण जलवायु संतुलन के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के पैरा लीगल वॉलंटियर संजीव कुमार ने कहा—बरसात के मौसम में पौधारोपण आसान है, लेकिन गर्मियों में इन पौधों की देखभाल और नियमित सिंचाई बेहद जरूरी है, ताकि ये मजबूत पेड़ बन सकें।”

कार्यक्रम में एडवोकेट विजय, मंदीप कौर, वन विभाग के फॉरेस्ट गार्ड, वन मित्र और स्थानीय ग्रामीण मौजूद रहे। इस अवसर पर वन विभाग और ग्रामीणों ने पौधों की देखभाल और संरक्षण की जिम्मेदारी लेने का संकल्प लिया।

मेरा गाँव मेरा देश – एक सहारा संस्था ने “एक व्यक्ति – एक पौधा” अभियान के तहत सभी से अपील की कि हर व्यक्ति कम से कम एक पौधा लगाकर उसकी देखभाल का संकल्प ले, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियों को स्वच्छ और हरित वातावरण मिल सके।र असरदार दिखे।
