मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने शुक्रवार को हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य विद्युत बोर्ड लिमिटेड, ऊर्जा विभाग व अन्य उपक्रमों की समीक्षा बैठक ली। कहा कि राज्य विद्युत बोर्ड ने उपभोक्ताओं की केवाईसी प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करने के लिए अंतिम तिथि 15 फरवरी निर्धारित की है। मुख्यमंत्री ने संपन्न विद्युत उपभोक्ताओं से स्वैच्छिक तौर पर सब्सिडी छोड़ने का भी आग्रह किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने बोर्ड की विभिन्न गतिविधियों की समीक्षा की और आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने निर्माणाधीन विद्युत परियोजनाओं की भी विस्तृत जानकारी ली।उन्होंने कहा कि विद्युत बोर्ड को और अधिक दक्ष व व्यावसायिक बनाने की दिशा में प्रदेश सरकार निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। बोर्ड की गतिविधियों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए नवोन्वेषी प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। बैठक में विधायक संजय अवस्थी, मुख्यमंत्री के प्रधान सलाहकार राम सुभग सिंह, हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य विद्युत बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष संजय गुप्ता, मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव राकेश कंवर, मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी गोपाल शर्मा और वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य विद्युत परिषद मिनिस्ट्रियल सर्विसेस एसोसिएशन के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने शुक्रवार को इंटक के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष पूरन चंद की अध्यक्षता में मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू से प्रदेश सचिवालय में मुलाकात की। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने बिजली बोर्ड मे हो रहे रहे युक्तिकरण के नाम पर मिनिस्ट्रियल स्टाफ का कोई भी पद समाप्त न करने की मांग की। एसोसिएशन के प्रेस सचिव रामेशवर शर्मा ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि युक्तिकरण में सभी श्रेणियों के हितों का ध्यान रखा जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस माह के अंत में एसोसिएशन के साथ बैठक करने का आश्वासन भी दिया।
