दून प्रैस क्लब ने मनाया विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस, कईं विभूतियों को किया सम्मानित
जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब में विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर सेवा सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया जिसकी अध्यक्षता हिमाचल प्रदेश कांग्रेस पार्टी सचिव युवा नेता अवनीत सिंह लांबा ने की।
इस मौके पर उन्होंने कहा कि प्रेस लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तंभ है विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है जब हम मीडिया के महत्व को समझते हैं और प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता के महत्व को याद करते हैं। यह एक सामाजिक परिवर्तन और स्थितियों को सुधारने का अवसर प्रदान करता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि मीडिया कर्मी के रहा में अनेक प्रकार की मुसीबतें आती है लेकिन मीडिया कर्मी खड़ा होकर उसका मुकाबला करता है।
इस मौके पर उधर समाजसेवी जगदीश तोमर ने कहा कि पत्रकारों को स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर आज यह प्रतिज्ञा समाज को करना चाहिए कि पत्रकारों को स्वतंत्र कलाम के रूप में कार्य करने देना चाहिए। पत्रकारों को स्वतंत्र रूप से हमेशा हिम्मत और उनको सपोर्ट करना चाहिए ताकि जो भी सच्चाई है उसको उजागर किया जा सके।
साथ ही नेशनल यूनियन ऑफ जर्नलिस्ट के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष और हिमाचल प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष रनेश राणा ने कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता की। इस दौरान दून प्रेस क्लब की ओर से विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाली महान विभूतियों को सम्मानित किया गया। जिसमें अध्यापक, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, पुलिसकर्मी, समाजसेवी और व्यवसाईयों को सम्मानित किया गया।
सर्वप्रथम कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि अवनीत सिंह लांबा, विशिष्ट अतिथि जगदीश तोमर और रनेश राणा ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का आगाज किया। इसके पश्चात दून प्रेस क्लब ने मुख्य अतिथि व विशिष्ट अतिथियों को समृद्धि चिन्ह, अंग वस्त्र और बुके देकर सम्मानित किया।
इसके बाद दून प्रेस क्लब के पूर्व अध्यक्ष व वरिष्ठ पत्रकार श्यामलाल पुंडीर ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। साथ ही उन्होंने विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर अपने विचार भी साझा किए। उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकारों के लिए भी सरकारों को कुछ करना चाहिए, पत्रकार लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तंभ है जोकि समाज में अपनी एक अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं। इसी बीचदून प्रेस क्लब के उपाध्यक्ष मुकेश रमौल ने भी अपने विचार साझा किए।
नेशनल यूनियन ऑफ जर्नलिस्ट के उपाध्यक्ष रणेश राणा ने कहा कि कि जहां भी पत्रकारों के हित की बात आएगी वे हमेशा साथ खड़े रहेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि कई मंचों पर उनका प्रयास रहता है कि पत्रकारों की आवाज को उठाया जाए। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकारों की स्वतंत्रता अति महत्वपूर्ण है। ताकि समाज की बुराइयों को आगे लाया जाए और खत्म किया जाए।
ये विभूतियां हुई सम्मानित: मुख्य अध्यापक जीवन प्रकाश जोशी, प्रधानाचार्य प्रेमपाल ठाकुर, अध्यापक व साहित्यकार महेंद्र कुमार, सेवानिवृत अध्यापक केएस गतवाल, प्रधानाचार्य कृष्णा राय, असिस्टेंट सब इंस्पेक्टर वीना ठाकुर, समाजसेवी व उद्योगपति अनिल शर्मा, प्रधान कोटडी व्यास सुरेश कुमार, मेरा गांव मेरा देश एक सहारा संस्था की अध्यक्ष पुष्पा खंडूजा, सेवानिवृत्ति रणजी खिलाड़ी गुरविंदर सिंह टोली, सुमन शर्मा तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी, जसविंदर कौर आशा वर्कर, दीपक शर्मा, तिरुपति ग्रुप ऑफ़ कंपनीज, हरि यमुना सहयोग समिति पावटा साहिब, डॉ रोहताश नागिया, समाजसेवी नाथूराम चौहान, समाजसेवी व अधिवक्ता दिनेश ठाकुर को सम्मानित किया गया।
आज के इस खास दिन पर मुख्य अतिथि अवनीत सिंह लांबा ने कहा कि पत्रकार समाज का आईना है। समाज में क्या चल रहा है इससे सभी को रूबरू करवाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां पर भी पत्रकारों की मांगे उठाने की बात आएगी वह कदम से कदम मिलाकर खड़े रहेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकारों को स्वतंत्रता से लिखना चाहिए व सामाजिक मुद्दों को उठाना चाहिए। इस दिवस पर उन्होंने सभी पत्रकारों को बधाई दी।
अंत में दून प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष दिनेश ठाकुर ने अतिथियों का धन्यवाद किया और सभी को बधाई दी।
