जिला दण्डाधिकारी सुमित खिमटा ने जारी किए आदेश
नाहन 15 अगस्त। जिला दण्डाधिकारी सुमित खिमटा ने लगातार बरसात के कारण जन जीवन और संपति को नुकसान की आंशका के दृष्टिगत सिरमौर जिला के सभी सरकारी व निजी शिक्षण संस्थानों, प्री नर्सरी, आंगनवाड़ी व आई.टी.आई को 16 अगस्त, 2023 को बंद रखने के आदेश जारी किए हैं।
आदेश में कहा गया है कि मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र शिमला द्वारा सिरमौर जिला के कुछ भागों में 16 अगस्त को भारी वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है। बर्षा के चलते बाढ़ तथा भूस्खलन जैसी आपदाओं की शंका भी जताई गई है।
शिक्षण संस्थानों के बच्चों की सुरक्षा जरूरी है, इसलिये अवकाश के आदेश जारी किये गए हैं। आदेश में यह भी कहा गया है कि सिरमौर जिला बाढ़ तथा भूस्खलन के लिये काफी संवेदनशील है।
भारी वर्षा के चलते सड़क कनेक्टिविटी, आवश्यक वस्तुओं की आपूर्ति तथा अन्य सेवाएं अवरूद्ध हो जाती है। इन सभी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए शिाण संस्थानों में 16 अगस्त को अवकाश के आदेश जारी किए गए हैं।
