1970s vintage Ann Reeves knit maxi dress with quilted border accents snakeskin heels I was going to change

I was going to change the buttons for something fun but left these as appear original

I think there are elements of an earlier (possibly 20s) dress which have been cleverly adapted in the 1930s - so whilst not in it’s original form is correct for the later decade

which was launched in 1969

This is also echoed by the yoke trim to the bodice. shoulder darts give soft shape into the sleeve head and lead into belled sleeves.
