One of the highlights of this project is the final stitching step

we embroidered the designs on blue fabric using a wide range of thread colors

Each design is carefully crafted to capture the essence of these mighty machines

we decided to design a small art quilt and see where it went

Designer Animals Religious One of the highlights ofModern animal sculptors inspired this collection when creating these designs. We wanted to create tonal animals with unique contours and stitching. We used applique in all of these designs and 3 colors of thread. We also added batting behind the applique for a unique puffy look. We stitched the designs on black linen tea towels with a cotton and grosgrain ribbon trim.
