Rare Hidden Mother 1/4 Daguerreotype by J. Gurney New York Tinted Unusual 1850s handsome 's Millinery & Dry Goods1 4 dag of a little boy in the lap of a covered parent or photographer assistant. Full intact case.. mat stamped, "Gurney, 189 Broadway, NY" in the lower right. The boy's dress is tinted blue, but the tinting is very light probably more subtle when viewed in hand than my scan and pics show. Dag is in excellent condition.. no scratches or swipes or major issues. If I look very carefully under magnification there are a few tiny speck sized mat abrasions
