Late 1960s to early 70s vintage Indian block printed silk dress with balloon sleeves by Anne of India 1930s jacket Slightly shaped at natural waistThis is a really beautifully made dress in Indian silk, with full length balloon sleeves. Label is Anne of India, which looks quite commercial rather than small scale seamstress. I wonder if it was made for export to western boutiques, as much was at the time. It has a 1960s look to the bodice but nylon cb zip and sleeve shape make me think 70s. Its a little too big for my mannequin and Ive only loosely clipped the bodice to shape, so I think on the
