इग्नू अध्ययन केंद्र 1133, राजकीय महाविद्यालय, पांवटा साहिब में ऑनलाइन परिचय सभा का आयोजन
जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब विधानसभा क्षेत्र में रविवार को इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय (इग्नू) अध्ययन केंद्र 1133, राजकीय महाविद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में सत्र 2025 के नवप्रवेशित शिक्षार्थियों के लिए एक ऑनलाइन परिचय सभा का आयोजन किया गया।
इस सभा में केंद्र की सह-समन्वयक डॉ. उषा जोशी शर्मा ने मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में शिरकत की। उन्होंने शिक्षार्थियों को इग्नू के इतिहास, उद्देश्यों और इसकी महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
डॉ. जोशी ने बताया कि इग्नू की स्थापना 1985 में भारतीय संसदीय अधिनियम के तहत की गई थी और यह 1987 में प्रबंधन और दूरस्थ शिक्षा के डिप्लोमा कार्यक्रमों के साथ प्रारंभ हुआ था।
शुरूआती दौर में इसमें केवल 4,528 विद्यार्थी पंजीकृत हुए थे, जबकि आज यह 338 अध्ययन कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से लगभग 40 लाख विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा प्रदान कर रहा है।
डॉ. उषा जोशी शर्मा ने शिक्षार्थियों को इग्नू की मूल्यांकन प्रक्रिया, सत्रीय कार्य (असाइनमेंट) की तैयारी और इसकी महत्ता के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने सत्रीय कार्य प्रस्तुत करते समय ध्यान रखने योग्य महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर भी चर्चा की।
परिचय सभा के अंत में शिक्षार्थियों ने अपनी शैक्षणिक और प्रशासनिक समस्याओं को साझा किया, जिनका डॉ. जोशी ने समाधान प्रदान किया। उन्होंने सभी शिक्षार्थियों को इग्नू के माध्यम से गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए प्रेरित किया और सभा में सहभागिता के लिए धन्यवाद दिया।
