सिरमौर जिला में बढ़ते हुए डेंगु मरीजों की गंभीरता के दृष्टिगत मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी सिरमौर डा. अजय पाठक की अध्यक्षता में आज शुक्रवार को नाहन में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की विशेष बैठक का आयोजन किया गया।
इस बैठक में सभी खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारी, स्वास्थ शिक्षक और स्वास्थ्य पर्यवेक्षक उपस्थित रहे। बैठक में प्रत्येक चिकित्सा खंड में डेंगू एवं अन्य बुखार संबंधित बीमारियों का विस्तृत जायजा लिया गया।
मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी ने बताया कि जिला के समस्त खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए कि स्कूलों अथवा अन्य स्थानों पर जहां लोग एकत्रित होते हैं ऐसे स्थानों पर डेंगू के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाई जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि नगर परिषद के संबंधित अधिकारियों से भी पुनः फागिंग अथवा स्प्रे करने के लिए कहा गया ताकि मच्छरों को समाप्त किया जा सके।
डा. अजय पाठक ने सभी स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों को दिशा निर्देश दिए कि वह अपने अपने क्षेत्र की आशा वर्कर के सहयोग से आगामी सोमवार से विशेष अभियान चलाएं जिससे कि घर-घर जाकर लोगों को मच्छरों से बचने के बारे में जागरूक किया जा सके। इसके अलावा घरों के आसपास पानी इकट्ठा इकट्ठा ना होने दें और विशेष सफाई का ध्यान रखें।
मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी ने सभी खंड चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को आदेश दिए कि सभी स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों में दवाइयां व डेंगू टेस्ट किट पर्याप्त मात्रा में उपलब्ध रखें ताकि सभी को समय पर उपचार मिल सके। इसके अलावा आशा वर्कर को आदेश दिए कि जनमानस को डेंगू के लक्षण के बारे में अवगत करवाया जाये। इस संबंध में एक विस्तृत रिपोर्ट देने के लिए भी स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों को कहा गया है।
