पांवटा विकास खंड के मुगलावाला-करतारपुर तथा माजरा पंचायत में 5 नवम्बर 2023 को होंगे उप चुनाव-सुमित खिमटा

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी (पं.) एंव उपायुक्त सिरमौर सुमित खिमटा ने बताया कि सिरमौर जिला की पांवटा साहिब विकास खण्ड की ग्राम पंचायत माजरा व मुगलावाला-करतारपुर में रिक्त हुए वार्ड सदस्यों के पदों के लिए आगामी 5 नवम्बर 2023 को उप-चुनाव संपन्न होगा। इस उप-चुनाव के लिए 5 नवंबर को प्रातः 8 बजे से सांय 4 बजे तक मतदान होगा।

सुमित खिमटा ने यहां जारी आदेश में कहा है कि उप चुनाव के दौरान इन ग्राम पंचायतों के लिए कोई भी स्पिरिटयुक्त, किण्वित या मादक शराब या इस प्रकृति के अन्य पदार्थ मतदान क्षेत्र के भीतर, उस मतदान क्षेत्र में किसी चुनाव में मतदान समाप्ति के लिए नियत घंटे के साथ समाप्त होने वाली 48 घंटे की अवधि के दौरान मतगणना संपन्न होने तक किसी भी होटल, खानपान घर, पाकशाला, दुकान व अन्य सार्वजनिक या निजी स्थान में बेचने, देने या वितरित करने पर पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंध रहेगा।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी (पं) सुमित खिमटा ने पांवटा साहिब विकास खंड के अंतर्गत आने वाली ग्राम पंचायत मुगलावाला-करतारपुर के वार्ड नम्बर-1 सिरमौरी ताल के रा. प्रा. पा. सिरमौरी ताल मतदान केन्द्र को सामान्य तथा ग्राम पंचायत माजरा के वार्ड नम्बर एक माजरा के रा. प्रा. पा. माजरा को संवेदनशील मतदान केन्द्र घोषित किया है।
‘‘आग्नेय शस्त्र अथवा हथियार ले जाने पर प्रतिबंध’’

जिला दंडाधिकारी सिरमौर सुमित खिमटा ने 5 नवंबर 2023 को संपन्न होने वाले पंचायत राज संस्थानों के उप चुनावन के दृष्टिगत सिरमौर जिले की ग्राम पंचायत माजरा व मुगलावाला करतारपुर की सीमाओं के भीतर किसी प्रकार के आग्नेय शस्त्र अथवा घातक हथियार लेकर चलने पर प्रतिबंध लगाया है। यह आदेश कानून व्यवस्था बनाये रखने वाले सुरक्षा बलों पर लागू नहीं होंगे।
