राज्यपाल 17 मई को करेंगे भौतिक चिकित्सा केंद्र का उद्घाटन

राज्यपाल शिव प्रताप शुक्ल, जो राज्य रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी के प्रेज़ीडेंट भी हैं, 17 मई 2023 को छोटा शिमला स्थित हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य रेडक्रॉस भवन में भौतिक चिकित्सा केंद्र का उद्घाटन करेंगे।
इस केंद्र के माध्यम से रोगियों को निःशुल्क आर्थोपेडिक फिजियोथेरेपी, न्यरोलॉजिकल फिजियोथेरेपी तथा दर्द प्रबंधन की सेवाएं उपलब्ध करवाई जाएंगी।
राज्यपाल के सचिव राजेश शर्मा, जो राज्य रेडक्रॉस के महासचिव भी हैं, ने आज यहां बताया कि इस केंद्र में फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट अपनी नियमित सेवाएं देगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके अलावा इस केंद्र में मैमोग्राफी स्क्रीनिंग तथा एक्यूपंक्चर चिकित्सा जैसी सेवाओं के बारे में रोगियों को जानकारी उपलब्ध करवाई जाएंगी।
रोगी उस दिन मैमोग्राफी स्क्रीनिंग तथा एक्यूपंक्चर चिकित्सा का लाभ भी ले सकेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य रेडक्रॉस द्वारा अपनी स्वास्थ्य संबंधी गतिविधियों को विस्तार देने के उद्देश्य से भौतिक चिकित्सा केंद्र को स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया गया है।
इस केंद्र के लिए हरिहर टेम्पल ट्रस्ट, विकास नगर, शिमला द्वारा उपकरण उपलब्ध करवाए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इंदिरा गांधी आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान, शिमला के चिकित्सकों का दल मैमोग्राफी स्क्रीनिंग करेगा। ऑल इंडिया एक्यूपंक्चर फाउंडेशन, संत बाबा नाहर सिंह ट्रस्ट, नई दिल्ली के डॉ. सुनील कुमार द्वारा इस दिन एक्यूपंक्चर चिकित्सा के माध्यम से विभिन्न रोगों के उपचार संबंधी विस्तृत जानकारी देंगे। उन्होंने लोगों से आह्वान किया कि वह इस सुविधा का लाभ उठाएं।
